From The Cradle To The Cross: A Christmas Poem

From the cradle to the Cross (Jn. 19:18)
He did it all for us (Jer. 31:3)

He came thus in lowly manger (Lk. 2:12)
So to God, we’d not be a stranger (Eph. 2:19)

He grew in wisdom and in stature (Lk. 2:52)
Calling us to be the sheep of His pasture (Jn. 10:1-18; Isa. 40:11; Ps. 100:3)

He healed the sick and raised the dead (Mt. 9)
So we would believe Him when He said, (Jn. 16:1,4,33)

“I am God, believe on Me (Jn.11:25-26)
The incarnate deity” (Col. 1:15-19)

“From within you, living waters will flow (Jn. 7:38)
If of your life, you choose to let go” (Mt. 10:39; Mt. 16:25; Mk. 8:35; Lk. 9:24; Lk. 17:33)

He lived, He breathed, He bled, He died (Mk. 10:45)
The King of glory crucified (1 Pet. 2:24)

All so we could be set free (Col. 1:13-14)
He was nailed to a tree (Gal. 3:13)

The King of kings and the Lord of lords (1 Tim. 6:15)
Paid the price we could not afford (1 Pet. 1:18-19; 1 Cor. 6:20)

He offers healing, redemption, and hope (1 Pet. 1:3-5)
So in the dark we no longer grope (Mt. 4:16; Jn. 8:12)

He didn’t have to, no one made Him do it (Rom. 5:8)
For the joy set before Him, He loved you through it (Heb. 12:2)

From the cradle to the Cross (Acts 5:30)
He did it all for us (Isa. 43:4)

He lived a life of humility (Phil. 2:8)
So salvation could be a possibility (Mt. 19:25-26)

A greater love, I do not know (Jn. 15:13)
Than for Him to die, so we could be let go (2 Cor. 5:21)

Jesus Christ the Prince of peace (Isa. 9:6)
Died so you could be released (Lk. 4:18-19)

Will you accept Him as your Savior today? (Acts 2:38)
Or will you still wander and be led astray? (Isa. 53:6)

From the One who loves you more than you know (Rom. 8:37-39; Eph. 3:16-21)
And with your enemy, will you choose to go? (1 Jn. 3:8,10)

Choose today to repent and believe (Mk. 1:15)
To Jesus Christ, choose to cleave (Jn. 3:15-18)

From the cradle to the Cross (2 Cor. 5:15)
He did it all for us (Gal. 2:20)

He is more than just a baby (Mt. 1:23)
Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior (Phil. 3:20-21; Jn. 13:13; Rom. 14:9)
